Supplier Quality Auditor (H/F) - SAFRAN GROUP

Missions
Preventive Measures: Proactively identify potential quality risks from suppliers and coordinate effective mitigation plans.
Contribution to Supply Chain Performance: Propose, develop, and implement Supplier Quality Assurance strategies to improve supplier quality and ensure assurance throughout the supply chain.
Network Leadership: Act as the SEP Quality representative in supplier interactions and serve as the link for Supplier Quality within SEP and Safran.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct product and process audits, establishing discrepancies and recommendations based on the quality system and Safran's specific requirements.
Prepare audits: define scope, sector/supplier, practical arrangements.
Ensure auditees are aware of the content and agenda.
Review audit reference and supplier history.
Conduct audits at suppliers' sites, verifying compliance with Safran and Safran Electrical & Power requirements.
Evaluate provider ability to meet Safran's requirements (GRP‑0087), Safran Electrical & Power standards, and international aerospace standards.
Assess strengths, risks, and opportunities of auditees and propose risk mitigation measures.
Provide feedback at the end of the audit and report to SPQM teams.
Write audit reports specifying deviations and improvement opportunities, and approve action plans.
Monitor actions, except structural actions within a long‑term action plan coordinated with suppliers.
Record findings in the ETQ information system.
Education & Experience
Higher education degree (General Engineering, Master’s in Quality, or equivalent).
Significant industrial experience in quality, industrialization, or supply chain.
Training in audit techniques preferred; knowledge of special processes a plus.
Knowledge & Technical Skills
Quality problem‑solving methodologies (8D / 9S).
AS/EN/JISQ 9100, Part‑21, Part‑145, SMS, AS/EN 9102 FAI, APQP, PPAP/FAI/DVI processes.
Supply chain & production processes (including special processes).
Lean Six Sigma principles and risk management.
Intermediate ERP systems (SAP, M3, MFG...).
Certified supplier auditor path.
Required Skills
Mastery of problem‑solving methods and quality tools (8D, 9S, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.).
Experience designing and implementing PFMEA.
Ability to create and modify a quality control plan.
Fluent English; proficiency in writing in English and Spanish.
