Responsibilities

Reviews each order as placed to determine where and how it should be scheduled to achieve customer requirements.

Coordinates activities of planning, purchasing and manufacturing to maximize effective loading and scheduling of the business unit.

Evaluates capacity requirements, executes the plan and advises the Operations Manager of forecasted load.

Schedules, prioritizes and follows contracts throughout the area and coordinates with supervision and process engineering to ensure schedules are attained.

Performs related clerical duties such as log‑in/out of production contracts.

Maintains integrity of front sheets, prints and engineering changes on the floor.

Recommends improvements for production flow and operating efficiencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field OR high school education plus 4‑6 years related experience in a materials department.

Working knowledge of Data 3 preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Commitment to confidentiality.

Team player.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

Frequent sitting, standing and walking.

Required to move around the facility continuously.

Occasional domestic and international travel (5‑10%).

Location Sidney, NY – 30 minute drive from Binghamton, NY and 20 minute drive from Oneonta, NY.

Salary US $50,000 – $70,000
