Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for construction projects.

Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance.

Maintain project files, meeting minutes, and logs (RFIs, submittals, change orders).

Support project closeout activities, including as-built drawings and final inspections.

Perform material takeoffs and assist with cost estimates for proposals and change orders.

Track labor productivity, material usage, and project costs; assist with forecasting.

Maintain and update pricing databases for labor, materials, and equipment.

Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to job sites.

Assist with subcontractor buyouts and vendor negotiations.

Collaborate with the safety team to enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Participate in site safety walks and ensure adherence to company safety culture.

Attend project meetings and prepare accurate meeting notes.

Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Prepare and submit timely project status reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Necessary Experience Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred OR a combination of an associate’s degree with significant construction experience will also be considered.

1–3 years of experience in project engineering, coordination, or similar construction-related roles.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam) preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work on-site and traverse job sites in varied conditions.

Ability to pass a preemployment background check and drug screening.
