This position provides engagement and care to individuals and families in the crisis center. Open 24/7, 365 days a year, the center offers a space for individuals and families to seek crisis support using trained professionals, comprehensive assessments, and coordination with community support and resources.
Duties
Knowledge of and maintain community relationships/resources.
Engages program participants through direct contact and support.
Directly encourages consumer voice.
Coaches participants towards developing satisfying, hopeful, and fulfilling lives as defined by the program participant.
Assist participants in identifying and pursuing their recovery goals.
Maintain records, EHR, and documentation as required by Spurwink or State Agencies.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with participant's Treatment Team.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification and/or Certified Recovery Coach certification required.
