Position Overview Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Inpatient Coder for a fast-growing healthcare technology client. This is a fully remote, direct-hire opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. The Inpatient Coder will support accurate and timely coding for inpatient hospital records across a variety of client engagements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, data integrity, and optimized reimbursement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely within a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities
Perform accurate inpatient coding in compliance with ICD-10-CM/PCS and applicable guidelines
Review medical records to ensure complete, compliant, and optimized code assignment
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
Must have a RHIA, RHIT, or CCS Certification from AHIMA
Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding standards
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and time-management skills
Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive base salary of
$70,000–$80,000 annually , along with a comprehensive benefits package and the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
