We are seeking a Systems Engineer who develops and publishes corporate business automation plans using cost-effective delivery technologies in support of major corporate strategies. Performs complex software design activities integrating multiple technologies. Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities to current and future technological environments. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies. Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technological activities. Will be responsible for designing C2BMC AT and DEF SW solutions that meet customer requirements. Some travel to Huntsville, AL required. RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a team of high performing individuals across a multi-site, multi-discipline organization. Analyze high level needs and refine the need into an evolving architecture that leads to a fielded product. Communicate technical approaches and findings clearly and effectively. Write and implement engineering plans within a project. Interact and collaborate in a team environment. Architect automation pipelines to enable effective development within rapidly changing requirements. QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role. Strong architectural and design skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Capacity to lead cross-functional teams. Experience with security-focused development (Security+ or higher). VMware certifications are desired. TECHNICAL SKILLS

Profound understanding of system software deployment architectures and CI/CD. Experience documenting architectures into system modelling tools such as CAMEO or Enterprise Architect. Ability to understand and decompose requirements to support verification and validation testing. Experience with VMware, Linux, and Windows operating systems, Git, Ansible, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel & Visio. Knowledge of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) is a plus. EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

$100,000 to $122,000 (range for this position may differ by location and other factors). PERKS
