Configuration Analyst
The Configuration Analyst plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the configuration management process within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that all systems and software are accurately documented, monitored, and maintained. The Configuration Analyst will work closely with various teams to analyze system configurations, implement changes, and troubleshoot any issues that arise, contributing to improved efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Analyze system configurations and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate. Conduct software testing to verify that configurations meet requirements and standards. Troubleshoot configuration‑related issues and implement effective solutions. Document configuration processes, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Perform data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in system configurations. Adhere to ITIL principles and best practices to manage changes effectively. Assist in change management processes by evaluating and implementing configuration changes. Develop scripts to automate routine configuration tasks and enhance efficiency. Manage databases related to configuration management and ensure data integrity. Gather requirements from stakeholders to support configuration management initiatives. Integrate systems and ensure compatibility between different software and hardware components. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in systems analysis and software testing. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently. Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail. Experience in data analysis and deriving insights from data. Familiarity with ITIL principles and change management processes. Basic scripting skills, with experience in automation preferred. Knowledge of database management and data integrity practices. Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication. Understanding of systems integration concepts and practices. Benefits
