Senior Sales Associate – Temporary Associate

Overview: Kate Spade New York is a global lifestyle brand known for colorful and bold designs. This temporary associate position supports our retail operations as a Senior Sales Associate.
Primary Purpose The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and support store operations.
Responsibilities
Achieve individual sales goals and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
Deliver exemplary customer service and create a personal connection with guests.
Partner with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate the selling culture and initiate business‑driving events.
Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
Build strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador.
Communicate client feedback to store leadership to enhance service and sales.
Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, and securing the facility.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills.
Proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture.
Elevated sense of personal style.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Available to work the store schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Stand for extended periods of time.
Safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable climbing ladders.
