Key Responsibilities
Operating System and Platform Management – Serve as SME for Windows or Unix/Linux infrastructure; ensure stability, patching, and performance optimization.
Server and Resource Deployment – Oversee deployment and configuration of servers supporting MS Desktop and Web Programming applications.
DevOps and Automation – Lead implementation of DevOps practices; manage provisioning, configuration, and application deployments. Develop scripts (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation and monitoring.
Cloud Infrastructure – Design and maintain cloud environments; scale resources; integrate with on‑prem systems. Deploy Java, .NET, and Web Services to the cloud.
Application Environment Support – Provide expert support for Lotus Notes and Web Application platforms; ensure services used by classification tools function correctly.
Tooling and Testing Integration – Maintain monitoring, logging, and performance tools; coordinate with QA to integrate automated testing results.
Mandatory Requirements
Experience Level: 16+ years (Expert / SME)
Operating System Expertise – Deep-level administration and troubleshooting of Windows or Unix/Linux.
DevOps Proficiency – Version control, CI/CD, and configuration management experience.
Cloud Expertise – Infrastructure management, network configuration, and security best practices.
Programming/Scripting – Proficiency in Lotus Notes, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, .NET, HTML, XML, Python.
Application Support Foundation – Strong background supporting Office, email, and web development environments.
Optional Requirements
Classification Systems Integration – Experience with infrastructure for classification marking tools.
Operational Familiarity – Direct support and integration of desktops, servers, and peripherals within a sponsor's environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary up to $245,000 per year.
