Recruiting & HR Generalist Responsibilities

Responsible for talent acquisition, candidate screening, and pre‑employment coordinating using UKG Onboarding and Recruiting.

Ensure all phases of the employment process comply with regulations and company policies.

Monitor open positions in the applicant tracking system, maintain candidate dispositions, pre‑screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, administer assessment tools, and submit qualified applicants to hiring managers.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with managers and hiring teams.

Support hiring managers and budgeted ranges in developing new hire job offers, preparing offer approvals and letters, and arranging pre‑employment screening (lab testing and background checks).

Initiate the recruiting process (requisition request and compensation).

Engage with employees and managers on employee relations; collaborate with HR Business Partners on complex issues.

Work with managers on promotions, internal moves, and conduct new manager onboarding.

Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting analytics (HR dashboard, scorecard, etc.) and lead culture scans, talent reviews, and performance reviews.

Maintain HR‑related files, respond to employee questions, and refer to subject‑matter experts as needed.

Process departmental purchase orders and invoice processing related to benefits and HR services.

Ensure employee lab testing requirements are tracked and performed per OSHA requirements, filing related documentation.

Participate in various HR special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.

3–5 years of HR experience.

1–3 years of recruiting and screening experience.

SHRM certification desirable.

Basic knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to all levels of employees.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion.
