Accountant
to join our team in the manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting cost analysis and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency.
Base Pay Range $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs; report findings to management.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities for production and operational expenses.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to track inventory and control costs.
Prepare tax filings and assist with audits as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry preferred).
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
Team‑oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments.
