$68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain standard costs for all manufactured products and processes.
Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and report on their drivers.
Perform inventory valuation, reconciliation, and obsolescence analysis.
Prepare detailed cost reports, profitability analysis, and gross margin reports.
Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on production costs.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements within operations.
Participate in month-end close activities related to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
Demonstrated ability to analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with ERP system implementation or module optimization (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Financials).
Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.
