Job Overview We are seeking a contribution-minded Accounting Analyst with a strong focus on problem‑solving and delivering solutions with urgency. This role combines leadership in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations with opportunities for process improvement and cross‑functional collaboration. As a foundational member of the Accounting & Finance team, you will help shape the financial future of a high‑growth manufacturing company while advancing your career through leadership development and exposure to modern accounting tools and practices.

Position Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end invoice lifecycle: coding, PO matching, approvals, and system entry.
Manage weekly payment proposals.
Specialize in payments (ACH, checks, wire transfers) ensuring accurate coding, documentation, and timely approval.
Accounts Receivable
Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and statements.
Apply incoming payments, monitor overdue accounts, and perform collection efforts professionally.
Process D&B credit reports for evaluation by Accounting Director.
Compliance & Audit
Respond to audit requests and support month‑end and year‑end close.
Prepare and import general ledger entries and reconcile AP/AR sub‑ledgers to the general ledger.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and third‑party providers to ensure smooth operations.
Act as the first point of escalation and subject matter expert for AP/AR processes.
Maintain and strengthen supplier partnerships; reconcile statements and resolve issues.
Analyze supplier behavior to identify opportunities for long‑term solutions.
Process Improvement & Documentation
Recommend best practices for AP and AR functions.
Assist with testing, documenting, and adopting new processes, automations, and system enhancements.
Develop and maintain job aids and standard work documentation for cross‑training and redundancy.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare AP/AR aging reports and perform ad‑hoc financial analysis as needed.
Support review of outstanding invoices and aging reports to maintain clean ledgers.
Position Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience:
2–4+ years in AP/AR or general accounting, ideally in a high‑volume environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
Growth mindset and ability to embrace technology.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage time‑sensitive tasks with accuracy and compliance focus.
