Key Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payment to suppliers and vendors for raw materials and services.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements to the general ledger.
Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring all financial data is organized and up-to-date.
Assist with payroll processing and associated tax filings for manufacturing personnel.
Prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.
Support month‑end and year‑end close procedures, providing necessary documentation and data.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and standard accounting software.
Strong understanding of financial statements and month‑end closing processes.
Proven ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in high‑volume transaction environments.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) common in manufacturing environments.
Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, job costing, overhead allocation).
Familiarity with inventory management processes and their impact on financial records.
Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
