Responsibilities

Inspecting film and bags for color variation, width, length, seal strength and visual defects.

Complete accurate quality checks and required paperwork on a timely basis.

Packing film and bags in cartons, according to workorder specifications.

Verify weights and counts of product, while maintaining correct carton and skid counts.

Weigh and manage scrap.

Responsible for maintaining work station in a clean well‑organized manner.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 12‑hour shifts.

Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced team setting.

Ability to communicate and work well with others.

Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.

Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.

Compensation The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $5,000 and $52,500; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range of $5,000 to $100,000 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
