Network Engineer
to support a company focused on security systems within the DoD. This position is
on-site in McLean, VA . The
Network Engineer
will lead a team managing enterprise IT systems and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards. Join a mission-driven team delivering secure, efficient IT solutions for critical government programs. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:
Lead engineering and installation for LAN wiring and fiber optic terminations. Install, monitor, and manage switches, routers, and data circuits for voice, data, and video systems. Ensure secure configuration of network infrastructure per DoD cybersecurity policies. Configure and manage network encryption devices and IP address allocations. Troubleshoot complex network issues and advise leadership on enhancement. Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include:
5+ years of experience
in network engineering and DoD network infrastructure. Proficiency with
Cisco network devices, encryption technologies, and IP management . Strong understanding of
LAN/fiber cabling standards and DoD security protocols . Bachelor’s degree
in an IT-related field (preferred). Certifications:
CCNP Enterprise and DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II. Clearance:
Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Compensation for the Network Engineer includes:
Salary Range:
$110,000–$130,000 depending on experience. Full Benefits Package:
