Salary Range:
$56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings.
Set up and operate CMM machines for precise dimensional inspection of manufactured components.
Analyze measurement data, interpret results, and generate detailed inspection reports.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to define measurement strategies and troubleshoot part issues.
Select and configure appropriate fixturing, probes, and styli for various measurement applications.
Perform routine calibration checks and preventative maintenance on CMM equipment.
Validate CMM programs against golden parts to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
Experience with various CMM hardware and probing systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA)
Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners)
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles
Ability to design or contribute to measurement fixture development
Experience with CMM software scripting or automation
