About the Role
We are a growing tax preparation and accounting firm seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Client Services & Data Entry Specialist to support our team during tax season and beyond. This role is client-facing and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and professional service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and verify client tax and financial data accurately into tax and accounting software.
Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and in person to gather missing information and answer basic questions.
Review client documents for completeness and flag discrepancies for preparers.
Upload, organize, and manage client documents in our systems.
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with data security standards.
Support tax preparers and administrative staff as needed during peak periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor when interacting with clients.
Comfortable working with computers, scanning documents, and learning new software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred (But Not Required)
Prior experience in a tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services firm.
Familiarity with tax forms, financial statements, or accounting terminology.
Experience with tax software, CRM systems, or document management tools.
