Overview CHD is seeking a Master’s‑level Licensed Mental Health Professional who is bilingual to serve as Assistant Program Manager for our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) in Springfield, MA. The role focuses on active engagement—including assertive outreach, consistent assessment and treatment planning, skill building, symptom management, addiction treatment, and behavioral and physical health monitoring—to support individuals living independently.
Responsibilities
Provide outreach training and supervision to Direct Care I, II, and III staff serving clients in need of psychiatric services.
Collaborate within the agency’s team model, fostering open communication, support, and accountability among co‑workers.
Qualifications
Knowledge of clients’ behavioral dynamics and treatment of the psychiatric population.
Ability to motivate, direct, and supervise individuals and groups.
Effective leadership and crisis response skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to structure job responsibilities independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Required to pass CPR, First Aid, and MAP certification.
Ability to conduct client intake and assessment.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience working with a psychiatric population.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Master’s degree in a mental health field from an accredited institution (preferred).
Bilingual in English/Spanish with fluent speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
