Job Overview The DV Development Analyst uses various software development languages (SQL, Perl, C, JavaScript, Spotfire, etc.) and other tools to write, edit, maintain, and test computer software.

They follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to plan, design, build, test, and deploy software applications, ranging from web portals, DV proprietary analytical modules, and sites to SQL applications.

In addition to creating new software, the role will also improve and maintain existing software.

All tasks are monitored under the direction of a Senior Developer.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop production code that is user‑friendly, reliable, and well‑documented for maintainability in a production environment.

Maintain and improve existing software.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Participate in root‑cause analysis of system issues.

Test software to ensure it satisfies user requirements, produces correct results, and runs efficiently without crashing.

Apply development standards and enterprise‑defined best practices (Git, Archiving Process, JIRA, Web Technologies, etc.).

Recommend improvements to Enterprise Architect for optimal performance.

Design and collaborate with Technical Manager or Enterprise Architect to translate user requirements into design documents.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (4 years).

3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

Proficiency in full‑stack web development technologies such as Angular, Node.js, SQL, and Git; additional skills in Linux environments and AI technologies are an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Computer Science and/or Information Technologies.

Work Environment This position will be onsite, 4 days a week, in South Park, Charlotte, NC.
