Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

General Summary The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating overall service area schedules and activities. Reports to the Practice Manager/Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as a patient liaison for scheduling of services.

Responsible for accurate data collection, documentation, and data retrieval.

Provides clerical, secretarial and project management functions for the service area.

Interfaces and communicates with multiple departments.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Licenses and/or Certifications

None required.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school graduate or GED.

Ability to relate well with the public.

Ability to effectively gather and exchange information in both oral and written communications with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Ability to coordinate multiple schedules based on individual preferences and guidelines.

Ability to utilize scheduling software and maintain updated schedules.

Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetical or numeric systems.

Computer skills required and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like.
