What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate with internal finance stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and define project requirements
Develop and execute new and existing solutions while adhering to timelines and providing regular updates
Create and maintain documentation of processes, system configurations, and automation workflows
Partner with technical teams to ingest, validate, and transform data for reporting purposes
Ensure data quality and compliance with corporate policies and data privacy regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
3+ years of experience in operational and technical data analytical support within a corporate team or consulting firm
2+ years of experience writing and reviewing SQL queries in a finance, accounting, or tax context
Strong detail orientation with a focus on accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with documentation proficiency
Experience working with various data sources, including Excel, databases, and APIs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Python, VBA, AI/LLM, RPA, Alteryx, Jira, Confluence, and Tableau
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Zuora, Avalara, Fonoa, Oracle, and Salesforce
Prior experience building solutions subject to SOX controls and interfacing with auditors
Continuous improvement mindset to enhance processes and efficiencies
Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams
