Job Description This position coordinates and oversees various academic activities, while providing a supportive and efficient educational environment to faculty, students, and staff under the Educational Development division of the Undergraduate Medical Education department (UME). This position reports to the Director for Educational Development.
Responsibilities
Coordinates and manages medical school curriculum for pre‑clinical modules for first‑ and second‑year medical students, Clerkship ECM LMS and course support.
Provides in‑classroom support for first‑ and second‑year medical students courses.
Coordinates and oversees Team Based Learning and Weekly Quizzes for all first‑ and second‑year modules.
Coordinates the annual scheduling of classroom space for all first‑ and second‑year preclinical medical school modules to ensure optimal use and delivery of classroom space and curriculum.
Creates, organizes, and publishes lecture recordings in MediaSite, ensuring structured folder access for lecture session recordings. Implements and manages the transcription of recorded lectures via Vook AI to provide ADA‑compliant resources for students.
Oversees and coordinates the delivery of all Microsoft Outlook invitations to all teaching faculty and module co‑directors confirming date, time, and location for all preclinical teaching commitments.
Collaborates with the educational development specialist and instructional designers to support curriculum alignment and academic delivery.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must understand software packages such as spreadsheets, graphics, word processing, and database management.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and apply organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is required.
Experience
Five (5) years of administrative experience.
Preferred
Master’s Degree in Education, or a related field.
Administrative experience in a higher education setting.
Required Skills Five (5) years related experience is required.
