Maintenance Manager
is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility. This includes managing the maintenance team, controlling parts inventory, administering the preventative maintenance program, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently to meet production requirements. Responsibilities
Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to a team of skilled maintenance personnel. Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to ensure optimal product quality and maximum operational efficiency. Actively participate in and promote the plant safety program. Ensure timely and proactive resolution of preventative maintenance, repairs, facility upkeep, quality, and safety issues. Manage maintenance-related projects, including equipment identification, procurement, relocation, installation, and rebuilds. Oversee purchasing of maintenance supplies and equipment parts, as well as maintaining accurate inventory of spare parts. Maintain employee records related to attendance, performance, skill levels, and training documentation. Communicate, administer, and enforce company policies, rules, and procedures consistently and fairly. Ensure compliance with food packaging safety, food defense, and quality standards. Serve as a member of the HACCP and Crisis Management teams. Education And Formal Training
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, etc.) Driver License in good standing 5+ years industrial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Minimal travel required (domestic and international) Knowledge, Skills, And Ability
Proven leadership/management skills Positive attitude and ability to work with employees at all levels Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to handle stress of meeting deadlines and constantly changing priorities Prior maintenance experience with high-speed rewinders, cartoner/casepackers, stamping press equipment, and conveying equipment Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree (preferred, but not required) Electrical and PLC experience (preferred, but not required) Good communication and computer skills; proficient in Outlook and Excel Benefits
