Position Summary
The Operational Readiness Technician is responsible for ensuring the readiness and functionality of the Emergency Department (ED) through effective stocking, inventory management, and equipment oversight. This role supports department organization, cleanliness, and the sustainment of Environment of Care (EOC) projects to enhance the overall patient care environment. Additionally, the technician serves as a liaison to Central Supply and coordinates special projects related to supply optimization under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
Minimum Requirements
High school degree or equivalent is required.
0 to 2 years of experience is required.
Strong understanding of medical supply management and operational readiness in a clinical setting.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining inventory accuracy.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including nursing staff and supply chain personnel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked ED to support high-quality patient care.
Preferred Requirements Associate's degree preferred.
Other Information Position: .5 FTE - 20 hour shifts / week Shift: Nights
