Position Summary & Responsibilities
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and/or in writing.
Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety, and operational improvements).
Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands.
Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives.
Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using own judgment or consulting others when needed.
Supervise and manage associates and leaders, giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, and providing growth opportunities.
Teach, support, and model logistics and company policies and procedures; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.
Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through belonging.
Attract, retain, and empower talent, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
Maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, modeling Walmart values.
Serve customers and members by delivering results, adapting to shopping patterns, and applying EDLP and EDLC business models.
Make decisions based on data insights, balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities and considering customers, associates, shareholders, suppliers, partners, and communities.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
1 year of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion across multiple departments/areas.
OR 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, mentoring, developing associates, managing associate workload, and participating in hiring and promotion.
OR 3 years of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors.
Requires completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Preferred Qualifications
Financial modeling and analysis, managing challenging workforce issues, modeling/forecasting.
Preparing and executing budgets; P&L accountability.
Supervising associates; Walmart Logistics Manager experience.
Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, Operations Management.
