Job Description The Operations Analyst I acts as an Operations owner or representative on projects primarily focused on continuous improvement of Transaction Services. Projects could involve standardization, conversion, productivity, service quality or other strategic issues or documentation related to these areas. The job complies with Federal regulations and industry rules including, but not limited to Bank policies and procedures, as well as all job relevant Risk Management and Corporate standards.
Depth & Scope
Coordinates and/or assists with projects of strategic importance for Transaction Services. Project scope may encompass other areas within Bank Operations
Participates in the identification, developments, and implementation of operational efficiencies for bank operations
Researches and applies Customer requirements in the development and enhancement of systems
Acts as a project manager for small-scale projects that involve work with external vendors
Participates in performance management and development activities
Maintains a working knowledge of Transaction Services processes and acts as a resource for resolving technical or operational issues
Participates in projects, communicates project status and provides timely escalation of issues to senior management to ensure project objectives are met
Updates the Fraud Detection database of commercial or small business customers' remote deposit capture equipment based on information provided by the TD Treasury Management team
Directs the work of 2 or more full time employees and handles complaints in the absence of a Collections Supervisor
Supports large ATM Project/Conversions
Provides day to day business partner support for lenders, commercial relationship owners & Treasury Management Services
Maintains a working knowledge of Operations processes and acts as a resource for resolving technical or operational issues
Trains employees
Assists management with the investigation of internal and external audit findings
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 Years of related experience
Strong technical abilities including database and spreadsheet proficiency. Must be able to relate technical solutions to operations issues and concerns.
Previous experience coordinating multidimensional projects
Effective verbal and written communications
Preferred Qualifications
Loss Mitigation experience (Underwriting and closing functions related to loan modifications)
Experience recording modifications with counties
