ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST

Job Title: Workers Compensation Coordinator
Classification: Associate Governmental Program Analyst
Salary Range: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per Month
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate assigned segments of the District’s Health & Safety Program under general direction of the Chief of Health & Safety Office.
Coordinate Return to Work and Safety Wellness Program.
Process Workers’ Compensation claims in collaboration with Headquarters coordinators.
Analyze safety data and related return‑to‑work situations and motor vehicle accidents.
Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, provide safety reporting, and collaborate with medical professionals.
Qualifications
Knowledge of industrial safety, occupational health, accident prevention principles, and Federal, State, and local laws (including Workers’ Compensation laws and SCIF policies).
Working knowledge of medical terms and language for reading medical reports.
Experience with safety hazard elimination, automotive safety, accident investigation and reporting.
Ability to analyze safety data and develop effective action plans for a safe work environment.
Possession of a valid driver’s license (when operating a State vehicle).
Eligibility for the position may be determined by score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst exam or by state examination list.
