We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow revenue and expand market presence within the landscaping, construction, and outdoor services industry. This role is ideal for a hunter‑minded self‑starter who actively prospects, opens new accounts, and builds long‑term partnerships with landscapers, contractors, municipalities, golf courses, HOAs, and commercial clients. Success in this role comes from consistent outbound activity, strong relationship‑building, and the ability to close and grow business in a competitive market.

Benefits & Compensation

Base Salary: $65,000 – $85,000

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience prospecting, developing, and closing new business in an outside sales or business development role

Demonstrated success selling to landscaping, construction, municipal, or outdoor services clients

Comfortable working in a landscape / construction culture, including job sites and early mornings

Strong communication and negotiation skills with owners, decision‑makers, and field personnel

Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently — from cold outreach to close and ongoing account growth

High level of self‑motivation, accountability, and drive

CRM experience is required. Preferably NetSuite

Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred

Preferred Background & Skills

Experience selling landscape products, aggregates, soil, compost, mulch, or construction materials

Existing relationships within the landscaping, construction, or municipal markets

Strong understanding of how landscape contractors operate day‑to‑day

Disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow‑up

Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

Results‑driven mindset with a strong work ethic

CRM experience preferred
