Job Description L3Harris Technologies, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) is seeking an exceptionally motivated and proactive individual to support the Procurement function.

The role requires an eye for detail, accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of taking initiative, delivering exceptional results, and exceeding expectations.

Our team is comprised of the following categories: Metal, Fabrication and Hardware; Electronics and Electromechanical; Aircraft Parts, Equipment, Repair and Overhaul; IT, Telecom, Software and Services.

The position encompasses strategic procurement and management of a broad spectrum of commodities and services critical to the organization’s infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Source, negotiate, and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, licenses, subscriptions, and supplies necessary for operation.

Review proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders, verify delivery schedules, approve payments, and maintain records; may prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying and repairing products and to establish price objectives; evaluate bids and select suppliers based on price, delivery, quality, and service.

Maintain close, professional daily interface with internal and external customers and all leadership levels; possess excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Work with teams to assess procurement needs, secure approvals, and support business goals.

Ensure acquisitions are cost‑effective, meet specifications, and are delivered timely, contributing to seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough analysis of statistical data to assess product purchase viability and establish pricing objectives.

Approve and qualify vendors to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Solicit and evaluate supplier quotes, scrutinize bids, and execute award decisions.

Engage in robust negotiations to secure favorable terms and monitor operations.

Maintain accurate procurement records and create RFPs and bid packages.

Resolve supplier issues regarding claims, returns, cancellations, and engineering changes.

Essential Functions

Obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required; Secret Clearance desired).

Perform duties detailed in the Job Description section.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience; Graduate Degree with minimum 2 years; or 8 years in lieu of a degree.

Experience with SAP.

Procurement experience.

Proficiency in negotiating long‑term agreements.

Capability to manage processes with minimal supervision.
