Logistics Coordinator II
to support efficient shipping and inventory processes across multiple sites. This role ensures timely delivery of materials, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with operational goals. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and experienced in coordinating complex logistics in a fast‑paced environment.
Role Overview:
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring on-time delivery to customers and suppliers.
Monitor and track rail and truck shipments; manage scheduling based on production requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory records for internal and third‑party warehouses.
Prepare and process invoices; generate monthly KPI reports on budget and performance.
Communicate shipping schedules with carriers and vendors; resolve issues related to delays or missed shipments.
Assist in developing and implementing shipping and receiving procedures.
Audit shipping labels and packaging for compliance with federal regulations.
Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to carrier and warehouse performance.
Collaborate with production teams to align shipping schedules and equipment maintenance needs.
Create and maintain weekly and monthly logistics reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple logistics processes simultaneously.
Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/ERP systems.
Knowledge of export regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics coordination.
Familiarity with railcar shipping and related software.
Awareness of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) preferred.
