Role Summary The primary role of the Logistics Specialist involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery, including staging products at the customer’s location. The LS represents TireHub professionally, maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships.

Starting Wage and Hours Starting wage: $21.15 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment. Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day‑shift hours.

Roles and Responsibilities

Distribute tasks among general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance.

Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans).

Selects, packs, counts, labels, palletizes customer orders and places them in designated locations.

Operates forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols.

Conducts cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures.

Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.

Maintains vehicles in clean and good mechanical condition.

Performs pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and reports issues or defects.

Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs.

Ensures compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures.

Participates in ongoing training (in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based).

Completes additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or leadership.

Requirements

At least 1 year of general work experience.

Valid driver’s license and minimum 2 years of driving history.

Minimum age 19 years.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Capable of repeatedly lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires up to 50 lbs or more, with or without mechanical assistance.

Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting; work up to 35 feet above ground level.

Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.

Follow traffic rules while delivering to customer locations.

Work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.

Maintain forklift certification and valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions

Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving of tires up to 50 lbs or more with mechanical assistance. Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.

May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.

Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Work at various settings: non‑climate‑controlled warehouses and customer locations.

Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little or no advanced notice.

May drive at night or in inclement weather.

Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment safety specifications. Reasonable accommodations may be provided under the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws.
