Maintenance Manager
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, managing maintenance budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
Supervise and train maintenance staff on best practices in equipment upkeep and safety procedures.
Coordinate with other departments, particularly food production, to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess maintenance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to preemptively address maintenance issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food production environment.
Strong knowledge of budget management and cost control.
Excellent organizational and scheduling skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in maintenance operations.
Ability to analyze data and develop KPIs to measure maintenance performance.
