Hybrid Litigation Legal Assistant (2 days remote) – Salary: $62,000 – $72,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive and accurate case files.

Conduct state filing online and federal filing using ECF/Pacer.

Utilize compulaw docketing for case management and scheduling.

Monitor and adhere to strict deadlines, maintaining a detailed calendar for attorneys.

Coordinate billing procedures and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Prepare and update case status reports for both clients and attorneys.

Prepare folders and necessary documents for paralegals and attorneys.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring all correspondence is dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Conduct legal research to support case development and strategy.

Provide litigation support, including document review and preparation of legal correspondence.

Manage complex civil litigation and appeals litigation cases.

Act as a heavy scheduler, managing appointments, court dates, and other important events.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar legal role.

Proficiency in legal case management and assistance.

Experience with compulaw docketing and ECF/Pacer.

Demonstrated expertise in litigation support, document review, and legal correspondence preparation.

Proven experience handling complex civil and appeals litigation.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage heavy scheduling and multiple deadlines.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Strong research skills and attention to detail.

High discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Proactive, self‑directed, and able to anticipate needs.

Professional demeanor for interacting with clients, attorneys, and staff.
