About the role Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal for a contract to permanent, fully onsite opportunity with our client in Midtown, Atlanta. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, during standard business hours.
Qualifications ⢠3+ years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law firm setting.
Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
File and serve documents electronically in state and federal courts (e-filing).
Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and manage attorney schedules.
Organize, index, and manage physical and electronic case files.
Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information as needed.
Review and summarize discovery materials and deposition transcripts.
Manage billing, time entries, and expense reports for assigned attorneys.
