Refugee Resettlement | Supervisor, Social Adjustment Services Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is looking for a Supervisor, Social Adjustment Services in its Refugee Resettlement Department. The role serves refugees in Houston, helping them achieve self‑sufficiency and dignity through case management, assessment, and coordination of services.

Principal Duties:

Provides guidance and supervision of case managers and support staff. Monitors performance, provides training and development.

Coordinating SAS efforts, ensuring that case management outcomes are met, and overseeing data entry into the Refugee Management Solutions (RMS) and Client Track databases.

Oversees the provision of assessments, intakes, and individualized service plans to eligible clients, working with Case Managers to ensure all needs identified in the needs assessment are properly addressed. Refers clients to internal and external programs to help address needs identified in the needs assessment.

Provides or coordinates transportation and interpretation for eligible clients to social service agencies and medical centers, as needed.

Advocates for clients and provides follow‑up assistance for Case Managers and clients, as needed.

Completes documentation in a timely manner, submits documentation by due date, and maintains accurate file documentation for all clients.

Attends staff meetings regularly.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Two (2) years of experience in social service or related setting.

One (1) year of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

Experience with applicable software e.g. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
