Project Manager – Public Accounting Firm
We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager to oversee client engagements across tax, exit planning, and litigation services. This role is central to keeping projects on track, teams accountable, and clients well‑supported.
Hybrid Schedule! – 3 days in office / 2 remote
Work Life Balance – 45hr max work week year round
Close on Fridays at Noon year round
PTO from Christmas Eve to the day after New Year
Flexibility when needed! (Family stuff happens)
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of firm projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
Assign and track work for CPAs and staff; balance workloads and follow up on progress
Participate in client meetings and serve as a primary point of contact when issues arise
Supervise staff, including involvement in hiring, performance reviews, and time‑off/payroll approvals
Partner with firm leadership and the Firm Administrator to support daily operations
Maintain accurate project tracking using practice management/ERP software (Practice ERP a plus)
Qualifications
3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in public accounting or professional services
Strong leadership and accountability skills with a collaborative approach
Excellent organization, communication, and follow‑through
Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Tech‑savvy; experience with practice management systems preferred
