Service Operations Manager

Job Summary: Sta-Dry Roofing is seeking an experienced Service Division Operations Manager to lead and oversee the operational success of our service department. This role is responsible for managing both office and field teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and delivering exceptional service on all commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven ability to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the service division, including office and field teams.
Manage all service-related projects, ensuring quality control and timely completion.
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
Collaborate with estimators, sales, and coordinators to ensure accurate job setup and material procurement.
Develop and enforce safety programs in partnership with the EHS department.
Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress and promote team engagement.
Hold team members accountable for efficiency, production goals, and compliance with processes.
Coordinate manpower scheduling to maximize productivity and minimize travel time.
Review timecards, billing, and warranty work documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
Lead monthly team meetings and implement action plans for improvement.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in roofing service operations or a similar construction management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to hold staff accountable.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Sage Service Management (SM) or similar platforms.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
