Service Operations Manager (Construction)

Position Overview: The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Service Division, managing both office and field teams to ensure operational excellence. This role oversees all commercial and residential service projects, enforces company policies and procedures, and ensures client satisfaction through quality control, training, and effective communication with owners, subcontractors, property managers, and builders. Key Responsibilities

Lead and support office and field teams to resolve obstacles impacting installations, manpower, and customer relations. Identify training needs and coordinate programs to improve performance and client satisfaction. Collaborate with the EHS department to promote safety programs and compliance. Provide feedback to estimators and sales teams on production rates and job setup coordination. Ensure proper materials procurement and delivery for all projects. Conduct job hand-offs and ensure field teams understand scope and site-specific requirements. Manage Service Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely billing. Perform regular job site visits for quality inspections and team engagement. Hold team members accountable for efficiency, man-hour targets, and adherence to processes. Attend client meetings and communicate project progress and completion status. Ensure completion of Toolbox Safety Forms, service software updates, and evaluation checklists. Develop processes to reduce delays, rescheduling, and unnecessary travel time. Provide hands‑on training and assist with leak source identification when needed. Lead monthly field team meetings and collaborate with leadership on agenda and feedback. Draft disciplinary write-ups, action plans, and work with leadership on policy development. Qualifications

Proven experience in operations management within construction or roofing services. Strong leadership and team development skills. Knowledge of safety programs, compliance, and quality control standards. Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Benefits
