LHH is working with an international manufacturer that is seeking a Senior Logistics and Compliance Specialist to lead and optimize logistics operations, ensure full import/export compliance, and manage relationships third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.
>100% onsite role in Haslet, Texas. M-F 8am to 5pm. Compensation up to $85k + benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external 3PL providers to resolve shipment delays and documentation issues.
Track and report on 3PL performance metrics, including delivery accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transmissions, collaborating with IT and logistics teams to resolve errors.
Lead cycle counting programs across external warehouse locations, ensuring inventory accuracy.
Ensure accurate classification of goods using HTS codes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations.
Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve compliance issues and facilitate customs clearance.
Oversee compliance processes for bonded and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) warehouses.
Support internal audits and external inspections related to logistics and trade compliance.
Develop and maintain reporting on key logistics metrics.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior‑level logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance role.
Must have advanced Excel – Vlookups & Pivot Tables – will be testing.
Inventory and warehouse operations experience.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, HTS classification, and international shipping documentation.
Experience managing 3PL relationships and overseeing bonded/FTZ warehouse operations.
Experience with EDI systems and warehouse management software.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Trade compliance or logistics certification (e.g., CCLP, CTCS, APICS) is a plus.
