Amentum is currently seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst III/Forensic Information Manager to support our customer needs at Gillem Enclave Forest Park, GA and forward deployed forensic laboratories.
Criminal Intelligence Analyst will perform highly advanced (senior level) criminal intelligence (CRIMINT) research and analysis work and ensure all forensic information is seamlessly integrated into all exploitation enterprise applications including protection, all‑source analysis and targeting, countermeasure development, and identity activities.
Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Performs criminal intelligence and forensic exploitation research and analysis involving complex data analysis and a variety of analytic tools to identify patterns of criminal activity related to military threat actors and vulnerabilities.
Creates, reviews, and presents detailed reports, documents, and briefings on criminal intelligence analysis and/or forensic information and disseminates products to appropriate stakeholders or law enforcement agencies.
Research, format and disseminate information resulting from forensic exploitation including all disciplines in forward deployed Forensic Exploitation Laboratories (FXLs).
Ensures all data is organized and shared in accordance with knowledge management principles and maintain key metrics on effects resulting from exploitation activities.
Identify analytic requirements necessary to support the decision‑making cycle, then develop, track and manage requests for information (RFIs) to designated intelligence support activities and higher headquarters to ensure CRIMINT and laboratory information outputs are properly shared and analyzed.
Work closely with organizations at the tactical, Task Force, Component, Combatant Command, Service Intelligence Centers, or Intelligence Community level for specialized support such as document and media exploitation (DOMEX), identity intelligence (I2), threat actor watch listing, weapons technical intelligence (WTI), scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI), or Foreign Materiel (FM).
Serves as a liaison for FXLs with internal and external groups and individuals to coordinate and integrate exploitation effects, provide analytical assistance, recommend applications of forensic information, and integrate laboratory information capabilities and outputs with operations, intelligence, and law enforcement working groups and boards for assigned command.
Maintain awareness on operational environment and higher headquarters priorities and make recommendations on strategies and collection plans so CRIMINT or forensic exploitation information outputs provide the maximum impact on the supported commands’ critical information or intelligence requirements.
Participate in capability demonstrations, subject matter expert exchanges (SMEEs), and exercises to demonstrate how integrated CRIMINT or forensic information outputs provide an information advantage and brief those capabilities to event participants.
Required Qualifications
Five years (5) experience in criminal intelligence analysis or experience in the all‑source analysis or application of forensic exploitation activities, weapons technical intelligence or identity activities in support of the Department of Defense (DoD).
Five (5) years of experience using and generating intelligence products with fusion of forensic and biometric data providing biometrics‑enabled identity analysis and performing extensive searches in a variety of biometric systems or repositories (internal or external).
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, although we will also consider candidates with significant experience in lieu of a degree.
