Job Summary

The Production Supervisor plays a vital leadership role, overseeing production personnel and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence through effective team development, cross‑functional coordination, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Schedule

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 3:30 pm and Friday 6:00 am – 10:00 am Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations to meet schedule, throughput, and delivery targets for all aspects of production activities, including assembly, testing, material delivery, and personnel management. Assign work priorities, coordinate staffing levels, and balance workloads across departments, conducting daily production huddles to communicate, address challenges, and reinforce organizational goals. Monitor production metrics (yield, scrap, cycle time, throughput) and take corrective action as needed. Maintain strong presence on the production floor to coach, support, and guide employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Identify weaknesses in existing workflows, documentation, and standards; lead initiatives to strengthen foundational processes. Implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, standard work, visual controls, root‑cause analysis, etc.). Collaborate with production engineering and leadership teams to improve process flow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Standardize and document operating procedures to ensure consistency and scalability. Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer specifications, implementing preventative measures to reduce defects, rework, and variability. Partner with quality and engineering teams to resolve nonconformances and drive corrective actions. Reinforce quality culture through employee training, audits, and daily reinforcement. Enforce all company safety policies and ensure a safe work environment at all times. Lead safety training, conduct regular audits, and proactively address hazards. Foster a culture of safety ownership where employees actively participate in safe work practices. Strengthen employee skills through structured cross‑training and competency development. Lead onboarding efforts for new hires, ensuring consistent understanding of processes and expectations. Conduct regular performance coaching and support employees in meeting development goals. Promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment where employees feel valued and engaged. Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Supervisor, Team Lead, Coordinator, or similar). Proven success in improving production processes, reducing waste, and boosting operational efficiency. Strong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in fast‑growing, scaling environments with evolving operational frameworks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach, train, and motivate diverse teams. Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort with root‑cause analysis tools. Ability to balance short‑term production demands with long‑term process development initiatives. Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Supervisor, Team Lead, Coordinator, or similar). Experience in mid‑size manufacturing (25–150 employees) with rapid growth trajectories. Background in building or rebuilding manufacturing fundamentals (standard work, training systems, KPIs). Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in low‑volume, high‑mix production settings. Location

This position is located on‑site in Longmont, CO. Compensation and Benefits

Base Compensation: $65,500 – $80,200 per year.
