Job Overview
The Responsive Material Planner is responsible for supporting our Footwear and Apparel business. This role’s primary responsibility is leading our apparel excess management, and footwear lead time exception processes, and the communication of recommendations to mitigate excess materials. This role will be balanced between tactical support and partnering with the Global Materials Planning team and cross‑functional stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies for a responsive, flexible materials supply chain.
This individual will be an important part of the Global Material Planning & Sourcing team working with our Materials Supply Chain (MatSC) partner groups, as well as functions external to MatSC. Partnering within the Materials Planning & Sourcing ecosystem, this individual will develop and implement capabilities across the functions to meet goals across our key pillars of Responsiveness, Resiliency, and Sustainability.
This role is looking for a proactive, thoughtful self‑starter who embraces and leads change through strategic, innovative solutions while driving clarity and accountability to manage a dynamic materials supply chain environment.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience, preferably 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning (Supply, Demand, Materials, etc.), Manufacturing and/or Logistics functions Understanding of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) basics, Demand, Production and Capacity Management, including key metrics. Ability to interpret driving factors and implement corrective actions Understanding Manufacturing best practices and key metrics. Ability to evaluate and recommend improvements in manufacturing strategies to meet inventory and service objectives
