Monday – Friday.
Hours:
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Full‑time position. Works onsite and requires compliance with DOT regulations. The supervisor coordinates and schedules a fleet of drivers to maximize operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Coach and counsel drivers on safety, performance, productivity, and morale; supervise their daily activities.
Direct, schedule, and assign driver work; plan, assign, and distribute daily workload while coordinating loads, equipment, and backhauls.
Develop daily delivery plan using equipment, manpower, and resources to ensure an efficient operation; implement transportation solutions for assigned customers optimizing cost and profitability.
Identify and resolve delivery and scheduling issues via timely communication with customers, drivers, vendors, and other Ruan locations.
Perform administrative functions including payroll, billing, driver counseling, and post‑accident reviews.
Participate in the review and analysis of operating performance.
Enter all required operational data into the Ruan Transportation Management System in near real‑time.
Monitor and promote safety and compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
