Job Summary
The Assistant Slot Shift Manager reports to the Slot Manager and Slot Shift Manager and is responsible for the leadership, integrity, and management of slot operations during their shift, ensuring highest standards of player service. Responsibilities
Maintain conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida policies. Enforce all departmental rules, policies and regulations. Account for all issued and non‑issued slot keys and equipment. Oversee daily staffing levels, personnel scheduling, and shift coordination. Train, evaluate and monitor employee performance, making recommendations for promotions. Ensure all slot machines are clean and in operating condition (bill acceptors, ticket printers and progressive meters). Communicate directly with slot departmental staff. Handle customer service issues. Act in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe policies. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; minimum 4 years’ slot operations experience. Equivalent education and experience acceptable. Work Environment
Employee must frequently stand, walk, use hands, lift up to 50 pounds, and have vision requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). Casino environment is fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy; exposure to smoke and constant public traffic. Effective verbal communication in English required. Closing
The Tribal Council gives preference to Native Americans in all employment practices. First preference is to members of the Seminole Tribe; second preference to other federally recognized tribes.
