Diabetes Patient Navigator – Syneos Health Commercial Solutions
The Patient Navigator (PN) will provide essential services to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless access to our client’s product, support, and resources. The PN proactively engages with HCPs and patients at a local level to identify marketplace needs, provide disease‑state and product education, and support appropriate utilization of the client’s access and fulfillment resources. The PN collaborates to train clinic staff on safety and proper product usage, including drug administration, disease‑state awareness, and insights into the patient journey. Clinical expertise is applied through nursing experience and education to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personalized patient engagement at therapy initiation, through adherence support and medication queries to ensure patients stay on therapy.
Educate and train healthcare providers and patients on on‑label product administration and treatment.
Handle initial inquiries and basic reimbursement questions.
Gather, document, and report field‑generated HCP insights to support innovative medical strategies while complying with industry and corporate policies.
Demonstrate mastery of disease state, product, and treatment landscape.
Engage with target customers, including advocacy groups, in various settings and conferences to uncover marketplace needs.
Provide timely follow‑up to HCP questions and requests.
Champion utilization of client resources to drive optimal patient experience and care.
Collaborate with commercial and medical counterparts in the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Clinical background required (LPN, RD, RN, PharmD, RPH, etc.).
Minimum 2 plus years of diabetes education experience with patient support team members; CDCES highly preferred.
Pharmaceutical industry experience highly preferred.
Professional, proactive demeanor.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary ranges from $120,000 to $127,000, with potential company car or allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonuses based on performance. Benefits include competitive compensation, health benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) company match, flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and municipal paid sick time requirements.
