This is a hands-on Controller role reporting directly to the CFO at a well-established insurance organization based in Tulsa. You’ll own the full accounting function and play a key role in financial leadership, controls, and decision-making. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution and is ideal for an accounting leader who thrives in a stable, growing insurance environment. **Full relocation is covered.**---## What You’ll Do* Lead all core accounting functions including month-end close, general ledger, journal entries, and work-in-process reporting* Own and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures* Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to provide insight into financial performance, trends, and risks* Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting* Lead quarterly accounting reviews, annual audits, and coordination with external auditors and tax advisors* Oversee statutory reporting, tax, treasury, AP, and AR functions* Manage cash flow, bank relationships, and working capital requirements* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements* Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams across multiple functions* Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and special projects as assigned by the CFO or VP Finance---## What We’re Looking For* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required* 8+ years of progressive accounting experience within insurance or Big 4 public accounting* Insurance industry experience strongly preferred (health insurance or P&C insurance)* Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams* Strong knowledge of GAAP, statutory reporting, internal controls, and audit processes* Strong communicator who can partner effectively with executive and non-finance stakeholders---## Why This Role* Leadership role within a well-established, respected insurance organization* High visibility and direct partnership with the CFO* Full relocation package provided* Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsIf you’re interested in learning more, apply today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
