What You’ll Be Doing As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the
pre-construction process , developing accurate bids and helping to win projects that align with Our Client’s high standards of quality and delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to develop precise estimates
Generate written proposals for bids and pricing
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local
labor, material, and equipment costs
Ensure understanding of
local, city, and state building codes
Mentor and manage
project engineers and assistant estimators to support their professional growth
Continuously enhance your knowledge across product lines:
drywall, acoustical, doors/frames/hardware (Div 8), and specialties (Div 10)
What We’re Looking For Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting
preferred
2+ years as an
Assistant Estimator , or 5–7 years of overall estimating experience
Skills & Success Traits:
Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and pressure
Highly organized with attention to detail
Self-starter with strong motivation and accountability
Committed to
professional excellence
and team collaboration
