About the role
Justice Resource Institute is looking for a Clinician to work with children in our Total Achievement Program (TAP), a therapeutic after‑school and summer program for youth ages 6‑12 in Plymouth, MA. The role will focus on group therapy in a trauma‑informed setting, supporting up to 12 clients per session, with coordination with families, schools and community agencies.

Compensation Salary range: $50,000 – $75,000 per year (dependent on experience, education, licensure and certifications).
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care for youth in the after‑school program, including coordination and support outside the site.
Help youths develop social and adaptive skills by applying clinical knowledge and creative methods.
Model evidence‑based clinical practice and lead staff in its implementation.
Use creative and engaging modalities to meet individual youth needs.
Design weekly curriculum for group therapy sessions.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of growth and development; ability to assess and interpret needs of emotionally disturbed or mentally ill youth and their families.
Experience with latency‑age children or behavior modification (preferred).
Availability to work afternoons and evenings, with flexibility on mornings and weekends.
Valid driver's license (youth transportation required).
Ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de‑escaltation for a safe therapeutic environment.
Background and driving record checks will be performed.
