As a speech-language pathologist, you will provide evidence-based therapy to children with diverse diagnoses, including ASD, cerebral palsy, and speech disorders.
Interpret and implement IFSPs and IEPs, monitor progress, and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational and physical therapists, and train families on AAC devices.
Maintain detailed documentation of services and ensure effective communication with families and team members.
Provide in-service training to care teams and participate in meetings and professional development.
Requirements: Master’s degree, current NY license, minimum 3 years’ experience, and strong communication skills. Physical demands involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a classroom environment.
